Give Jose Baza a Proper Farewell

Donation protected
My name is Jose Baza Jr., but many people know me as Joe. I'm writing this with a heavy heart to share the devastating news of my father's passing. My dad, Jose Baza Sr., passed away on Friday, August 1st, 2025.

My dad was a remarkable man who had a way of lighting up any room he entered. People were instantly drawn to him and treated him with respect, as he always gave that same respect back to everyone he met. He had a warmth about him that made people feel comfortable, which is why it was so difficult to tell people what happened—we could hear their pain in their voices.

As a single dad, he raised me my entire life. He taught me to be respectful to everyone, to honor my elders, to respect women, and to work hard. He instilled in me the importance of doing everything with passion, helping others whenever I could, and staying humble, no matter my achievements. He continue to do the same with my sister and brother.

My dad's dedication to his work was unmatched; he was a true perfectionist and taught me to be the same. He had a deep sense of responsibility toward his clients and employees, and he firmly believed that fairness was always the right approach. He generously shared his knowledge with his employees, not just to help them succeed in their jobs, but to inspire them to learn, grow, and eventually become their own bosses. It was his kindness and infectious personality that turned so many new clients into genuine friends.

Above all else, my dad loved his family. His love for his wife, my two siblings, and me was the foundation of our lives. But his heart had room for so many more—he cherished his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and all of his grandnieces and grandnephews. He had this wonderful way of celebrating everyone's victories. When anyone in the family succeeded, he'd beam with pride and share their story as if it were his own achievement. His genuine pride in all of their accomplishments was a powerful testament to his love for his family.

It's hard to put into words just how much my dad meant to us and I could share endless stories about him. As my family and I navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are humbly asking for your help to give him the proper burial he deserves. We would be so grateful for any support from our family, friends, clients, and the Houston community. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference. If you can't donate, we would deeply appreciate it if you could share this message in any platform.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and support.
