Joni is more than just one person. She’s an amazing mom, a loving grandma, an awesome aunt, and a cherished friend to so many. She’s the one who shows up when you need a shoulder, lends an ear (even when she struggles to hear), and loves with her whole heart.

Over the years, Joni’s significant hearing loss has made it increasingly difficult for her to engage in everyday conversations, connect deeply with loved ones, and fully enjoy the moments that matter most. Whether it’s hearing her grandkids’ laughter, sharing stories around the table, or simply enjoying the world around her, so much has become muted and isolating. She finds it nearly impossible to make important phone calls like scheduling doctor’s appointments, or to manage essential conversations in her daily life. Even attending appointments on her own has become difficult, simply because she can’t hear well enough to fully understand what’s being said.

The type of hearing aids Joni needs for her specific level of hearing loss are not covered by insurance and are extremely expensive. These specialized devices are essential to improving her quality of life, helping her stay connected to loved ones and the world around her.
