Update:

I have also failed to report that John has been instrumental in our church as the sound man audio Mann until 2 1/2 years ago until he couldn’t make it to church anymore. We have an awesome church and an awesome Pastor Randy Wilson and I don’t ever want to fail to give them the credit for everything they’ve done for us. just please continue to pray that we will reach our goal. 

On a lighter note, I believe I have found a cheaper bed, to be continued

Please continue to share, as there has been new developments, in his health that may require this amount to increase. And please, if you cannot donate the most important thing you can do is pray for John and for his spirits. Asking for help is probably one of the hardest things that John and I have ever had to learn to do. From the day that he fell until this day, we have relied on prayer, insurance, LOL (no, I’m very grateful that he does have insurance bc so many are not that privileged) ,good friends and church family, as well as his fire fighter community to see to John’s, physical, mental, and monetarily support and ALL have came through for him. I truly wish I didn’t have to go this route but financially it’s the only way. When I started this go fund me account I put an estimated goal of $5000. Thanking that this would be plenty, and would get him the bed that he needs. However, upon much research, and in light of John’s new diagnosis of possibly losing a leg, the bed that we have found with the mattress, trapeze, and battery back up is going to cost Around $9000. We will strive to get there and there are so many supporters out there already that have given so much and for that I am so grateful. And please take note that John is extremely grateful and overwhelmed by the amount of support that he has, and I thank you for that. It is so important right now to keep John’s spirits high. So please please please share this with all of your friends, your church, families, your prayer groups, and anyone that you think could possibly help for John to get the bed that he needs when he is able to come back home from the hospital. John’s life scripture is Isaiah 40:31. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint

John, my ex-husband but also my BEST FRIEND, is a paraplegic and has been for 25 years. He has a heart of gold.

John has been fighting with bed sores for several years leaving him bed-bound for the last two and half years. He has a nurse that comes in 1 to 2 times a week to change his bandages. In reality his bandages should be changed 1 to 3 times a day.

I am more than willing to take care of John but here is our problem. John is a large man and he is in a regular hospital bed. Insurance will not pay to get him a larger bed because he doesn’t weigh enough. It is so hard to get to his sores because he can’t turn far enough in the small bed.

Please help John get the bed he NEEDS .

This is an emergency situation as right now he is in the hospital because of these sores and we would love to have this bed before he gets home. I know, I am kind of a dreamer but I sure would like to try.

Most importantly!!!!!

Even if you can’t give monetary, please say a prayer for John that the Good LORD will heal his body.
