Give Jimmy more years with his precious family

In October 2023, Jimmy Cowman all of a sudden couldn't walk. His family got him to the hospital to discover 4 tumors in his body (brain, trachea, lung, and liver), with the one in his brain impacting his motor function. Within days, the brain tumor was removed and Jimmy's walking returned (although labored); unfortunately, the tumors have been determined to be cancerous (stage 4).

Gratefully, there are treatments that are expected to prolong Jimmy's life with both quality and quantity...but they are very expensive. Through the Postal Service (where Jimmy faithfully served for over 48 years), his insurance covers the cutting-edge immunotherapy at 70%, leaving the remaining 30% falling to the family every 28 days for the next two years. In addition, the family has added various accommodations to the house to make it safe for Jimmy to ambulate at home; they do not have these resources. Jimmy's treatment will involve numerous doctors' appointments, radiation treatment, immunotherapy, monthly lab work, and diagnostic testing which will cause a cumulating out of pocket expense each month (for about 2 years).

In addition to your financial support, the family covets your prayers--for Jimmy, his wife Debbie, children Brad (Stephanie), Kimmy (Daniel) and Kyle and their six grandchildren; for the doctors, nurses, and practitioners who will care for him; and for the extended family and friends who are saddened to be on this road.
