Hi everyone,
I’m writing this with a heavy heart. My dog Jethro, who so many people know and love, has been diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). It’s a spinal condition, and it’s left him paralyzed in his back legs.
Right now, Jethro can’t walk. He’s in pain and confused, and watching him struggle has been devastating. Surgery could give him a real chance at recovery; it could relieve his pain and possibly help him walk again. But the window to act is small. The longer we wait, the lower the chances of success. Without surgery, he may never walk again and could be in constant pain for the rest of his life.
The thought of having to put him down because I can’t afford the surgery is unbearable, but it’s a possibility I’m being forced to consider if I can’t get help.
Jethro has always been such a loyal, loving dog. He means the world to me, and I just want to give him the chance to live a full, pain-free life again.
If you’re able to donate or share this, it would mean everything. Thank you for reading and for caring about my sweet boy.
