Do you know Jose Jesus Pinto? He is a tune carried on the breeze. A friendly salutation. A breath of fresh air. He works hard to support his family, hobbling along on one leg, leaning heavily on his walker with a bag of empty bottles and cans set before him. You can hear him coming, he whistles… a lot. It’s a hard job. He gets cold but shows up regularly all year long.

We love Jesus. hearing him coming brightens our day. But he hasn't shown up since January 26th. He's been in the hospital with pneumonia - Legionnaire's Disease. Bad stuff.

We have had the blessing of being able to help Jesus when he needed it and by doing so have formed relationships with his wife, Juana and daughter Noemi. They are the kind of people one is glad to know. We want to help them through this difficult time. The bills are piling up.  If you have a little cash to spare, any amount will do.
