Meet Jerry!
Jerry is a sweet 12-week-old panda pug we picked up to help find his forever home (which usually isn’t hard with pugs!). Unfortunately, the night before his adoption, Jerry jumped off our couch and landed just the wrong way — shattering his tiny leg.
The first emergency vet said surgery would cost $8,000–$10,000, and told us a cast wasn’t an option. Heartbroken but determined to find a way, we drove at 2 a.m. to another emergency facility for a second opinion. Thankfully, they agreed to try a cast for one month to see if his leg can heal naturally.
If it doesn’t heal, the next step will be amputation ($5,500). We’ve already spent over $1,300 at two emergency clinics just to get him stabilized and comfortable.
Jerry is now safe with us, surrounded by love and care — but it’s not easy. We have to keep him confined or hold him constantly to protect his leg, and even with morphine and pain meds, this determined little guy still tries to hop around on three legs!
We’re asking for help to cover Jerry’s medical bills and give him the best chance to heal. Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly toward his treatment and recovery. If you can’t donate, sharing Jerry’s story means just as much.
Please help us help Jerry — and give this brave little pug the happy, healthy life he deserves.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
