In Loving Memory of Jerald A. King- Support for giving him his last ride home.
Dear Friends and Family,
It is with heavy hearts that the news of the passing of Jerald A. King on 06/10/2025 is shared.
He will be deeply missed, and forever loved
During this difficult time, the focus is on assisting with celebrating Jerald's aka Jerry, JR, or king's life, arranging his final farewells and assistance with vigil and a small but deserved service.
Support is sought to help cover any fees accumulated for his service.

Any contribution, regardless of size, would be greatly appreciated and would help ease the financial burden during this challenging time.
Your generosity will allow us to properly lay him to rest and assist in anything of his passing. Let's give Jerry a dignified send-off, he was a vet, so he fought hard for OUR country back in the 70's, he owned a landscape business as a younger man, he enjoyed outside. Yes MR Jr was a homeless man but it was something he chose, he didn't want to be in a inclosed area, inside walls as he would say, he absolutely loved peanut and jelly sandwiches and soup. He, even though was homeless he had his relationship with God and he knew God loved him. Mr Jerald wasn't the one to ask for anything but take a kind gesture from someone, he would but and I say BUT if you were hungry, this man would feed you first. He walked with his bike at his side, with very little to carry along, due to people would steal his belongings, but he was thankful for whatever they would leave behind. Folks if you knew JR, you knew a good honorable man. He was caring, I know cause I've seen him (cry) many men don't cry but this one had heart. And he was human at the end of the day. The most respectful "homeless" man you ever knew. He loved out doors. Since I can remember. He has no siblings as they have all passed, if I'm correct he had 4-5 of them. He was no trouble ever. Look at his rap sheet, nothing like a "homeless" man. He chose that. And God allowed him to be free. Well Mr Jerry your free, no more pain, no more struggles, no more being to hot or to cold, he chose you. Hard working hands are laid to rest. I could go on and on about him.
Thoughts, prayers, and messages of support are also appreciated. Your kindness is valued.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
With gratitude,
The Mathews and Lakeland area folks
