Hello Everyone. My name is Jennie and I'm in trouble out here and I just need a little help getting back up. I was born in 1970. I was taken from my mother when I was six months old. From then, I bounced between my grandparents' home, my aunt's home, and the orphanage where I was placed for adoption until I was 3 years old. At that point, I was adopted at age 3. The woman who adopted me changed her mind almost immediately. I stayed with her and my adopted dad until he passed when I was 13 years old. At that point, my adopted mother and my relationship was non-existent, and I soon found myself sleeping on my friends' couches until I graduated high school. At that point, everyone I knew scattered to start their lives, and I was soon on the streets, where I have been ever since. I have never had a home or a family, and I have never had help or support from anyone. I work all the time. I have two jobs currently and managed to finally get a car about a year ago, which I now live in because I cannot afford rent, car note, insurance, and maintenance on my own. So I had to choose between a car and a home. Now my car has transmission issues and I will soon lose it because I can't afford a transmission for it, which will leave me in the bushes at that point. I'm trying to avoid this if at all possible. I need to get myself into a home where I can try to find some type of stability for myself. I need to buy an RV. They want a big down payment that I don't have, which brings me here. I can live without a car if I have a home. But, currently, my car is my home. When I lose it, I'm in big trouble. I'm 54 years old. I do not drink. I do not do drugs. I have one criminal record that is a misdemeanor ticket for pot in Idaho that I couldn't pay. I have never been to jail. I work as an assembler full-time and I DoorDash on the side, which I cannot do now that I'm losing my transmission. I need $3500 for a down payment on an RV, and if anyone reading this can help me, I'd be eternally grateful. You will save a single female from the bushes in a tent. I sincerely appreciate you reading my story and may you be blessed every day.
