Hi everyone,

I wanted to finally share an update on Jeff. I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted—life has been a lot to manage, and I truly appreciate all of you who have continued to check in and support us.

Jeff is still fighting every single day. This journey hasn’t been easy, and there are still many challenges, but we’re holding on to hope. Right now, we are temporarily in Colorado staying with my mom so we can focus on getting Jeff the care he needs.

We have several upcoming appointments in Denver with new doctors, and we’re really hoping this next step brings answers and a clear path forward. We’re staying positive and praying these new specialists can help continue working toward a cure.

This situation has also meant making some very hard decisions. I had to resign from my job so I could be here full-time to care for Jeff and get him to the appointments he needs. It wasn’t an easy choice, but it was the right one for us.

Day-to-day life looks very different now. Between treatments, travel, and just trying to get through the harder days, it’s been a lot emotionally, physically, and financially. But we’re still here, still pushing forward together.

Your support—whether it’s sharing Jeff’s story, donating, or simply sending a message—means more than I can ever explain. It truly helps us keep going and face what’s ahead.

Thank you for sticking with us, even when things have been quiet. We feel it, and we’re so grateful.

With love,
Desi

Hello and God bless. My name is Desiree and my husband's name is Jeff. He is battling cancer, Stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma. It is an aggressive cancer in his face, and we are scared to death and going to do what we have to so he has a fighting chance.

The doctor has advised us of a long, hard battle with losses.

Nice to meet you and thank you so much for reading our story. The diagnosis has completely changed our lives. He is the man of the family and it’s difficult for us at this time. We have to humbly ask for help. We must travel for his health and he is about to start his radiation and chemotherapy.
jeff has lost his feeling on right side of face and the cancer has already spread into his skin and nerves and it’s making its way to his brain.
He has had several operations already to clear some of this cancer from his nasal cavity. He is losing his hearing and sight in his eye and we are at the very beginning of this battle. Honestly, I don't know how we are going to get through this. I'm asking for anyone with the ability to help us to get us through this. We have rent, gas, meds, and everything life requires to subsidize our loss while my husband is down. Please, if you can, please help; we would appreciate it. Prayers are great. Lost and scared in Washington!

Here's a little weekend update. - he's a total rockstar in the face of adversity! I want to acknowledge his crazy strength. In two days, on Monday, he's scheduled to start chemotherapy and radiation, pending no further complications. Although his condition remains unchanged, his resilience is truly inspiring. To date, he's undergone three tooth extractions and three biopsies, necessary steps to ensure his eligibility for chemotherapy - what a trooper! While the cancer continues to progress, it's crucial that it doesn't reach his brain - no pressure. ‍♀️.
Thank you for everything everyone! Go Jeff!
