Give Jean Marie Garcez a Peaceful Burial

Hi everyone! The Mendoza family wants to start this GoFundMe as a way to raise funds to pay for our mom's funeral. This is her son writing this, Lorenzo "JJ" Mendoza, and our mom, Jean Marie Garcez, recently passed at the age of 41.

We found our mom to be one of the absolute best mothers in the world as children, however, addiction and substance abuse had taken a hold of her life. She tried and tried and tried to fight it off, however, the struggle was overwhelming for her. She passed on August 1st, 2024 and now that she has passed, my family would like to lay her to rest and give her peace so that she doesn't have to struggle anymore. However, because all of this came so suddenly, we didn't have much time to prepare. We do know that she wanted to have a burial though, so the things we are currently considering are:

- Funeral Homes (Burial Service): 5-8k

- Cemetery Space: 7-9k

- Casket and Etc: 1-2k

We list these things we are raising funds for so that we can respect her wishes and give her the proper rest she wanted. All of these fees and options are still being considered by my family and I, which is the reason for the vast ranges, however, I'm setting the max on here to at least 15k to have some starting point. This is a big ask but truly anything would help. Thank you.
