Just days ago, Jean lost her beloved husband unexpectedly. They had been married for many years and were each other’s anchor. Their life together was full of love, hope, and shared dreams. Two years ago, they took a big step and purchased their first home—something they were so proud of.

Now, Jean is not only grieving the loss of her life partner, but she’s also facing serious financial hardship. Until recently, Jean worked at JoAnn Fabrics, where she had built a loyal customer base and cherished her coworkers. Unfortunately, with the company’s recent closure, Jean lost her job—the very thing that helped keep their household running.

With no income and mounting bills, Jean is terrified of losing the home she and her husband worked so hard to build together. Mortgage payments, utilities, and everyday expenses are piling up, and she simply can’t manage it all on her own right now.
