Last week our friend Jasmine Golphin hit a patch of ice on her way to the bus causing a tendon in her knee to tear. After a trip to the emergency room and several doctor's visits (including an MRI) it was determined she'd need surgery within the week to mend the tear in the tendon.
She will be immobile for the next few weeks and basic functions of her knee will not return for another 5-6 weeks. She will not have 100% full mobility and strength until June, at the earliest. Let's give Jasmine a leg up on this unfortunate series of events. Donations in any amount will be greatly appreciated to help cover her medical expenses on her road to recovery.
