Our sweet and energetic 3-year-old son, Jameson, has a severe peanut allergy that puts his life at risk every single day. With over a 90% chance of anaphylaxis if he ingests even a trace of peanuts, we live in constant fear for his safety. When Jameson was just 9 months old, we experienced every parent’s worst nightmare—he had a severe allergic reaction that sent us rushing to the emergency room. Seeing our baby covered in hives and in distress was the most terrifying moment of our lives. Since then, every meal, every outing, and every interaction with food has been a source of anxiety for our family even though we bring his EpiPen with us everywhere we go. After extensive research, we have found a specialized allergy treatment program in Los Angeles that offers real hope for Jameson's future. However, the cost is substantial—around $10,000 per year (this includes medical costs, travel expenses, etc.) for an estimated 2.5 to 3.5 years.

As parents, our greatest wish is for Jameson to live a life free from the constant threat of a severe allergic reaction.
