Wednesday May 14th was the worst day of my life. We were informed by the Southeastern Louisiana University campus police that our daughter, Jade, was found deceased in her dorm room. We don’t know why or what happened, and won’t for awhile. What we do know,

especially given the outpouring of support and love people have shown Jade, that so many people knew what I already did, and that’s Jade was an amazing person.

People keep asking what they can do to help, and if there’s anything we need don’t be afraid to ask, so this is me asking. Tomorrow we’ll be going to the funeral home to arrange services for Jade. Obviously, this entire situation came as a major shock and we’re not prepared. So I’m asking for any help that you can provide so we can give my princess the service she deserves and would love. Anything you can give will be very appreciated.
