Help My Daughter Fight Sarcoma and Keep Her Dream Alive

Hi everyone,

My name is Jashly, and I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart full of love, fear, and hope. My daughter Jade is only 22 years old — a bright, beautiful young woman who should be celebrating her final year of college, making memories with friends, and planning her future. But instead, she’s fighting for her life.

On October 24, our world changed forever. She was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer in her right leg. What started as a bit of pain quickly turned into something we could have never imagined. Since then, she’s been at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, Illinois, where she’s already undergone three major surgeries. Each one has been painful and exhausting, yet she faces every single day with courage and faith that leaves me in awe.

Now, doctors say she will need radiation and chemotherapy to continue fighting this aggressive cancer. The road ahead is long and uncertain — but we are determined not to give up.

As her mom, it breaks my heart to see her in a hospital bed when she should be walking across a graduation stage. I wish I could take her place and take away her pain. But what I can do is ask for help — help that will allow her to keep fighting.
