Hi, my name is Ivan. I will be 2 years old in October 2025.

I was born with a life‑threatening condition called a liver shunt. This means my blood is not being properly filtered through my liver, allowing dangerous toxins to build up in my body every day. As a result, my health is declining, and my future is at serious risk.

My doctor has given my family devastating news: without surgery, I have no more than 8 months to live. This surgery is the only way to close the shunt and redirect my blood through my liver so my body can function properly. It is not optional—it is lifesaving.
