Our mission at the River Management Society is to support you – the professionals who study, protect and manage North America’s rivers. Help us continue this impactful work with a tax-deductible year-end contribution to RMS. Those donating $100 or more will receive an RMS insulated koozie / tumbler.

Marked by unprecedented membership growth and participation, this has been one of our most monumental years yet. In online workshops and at riverside meetings nationwide, we’ve navigated topics like restoration, river access, debris, environmental justice, Wild and Scenic Rivers, equity, visitor use management, hydropower, and accessibility.

We’ve shared examples and best practices, developed and expanded resources, and helped prepare the next generation of river professionals through our River Studies and Leadership Certificate.

With guidance from members, we're charting an ambitious course for 2024—and we're relying on your continued support to turn this vision into reality. We truly appreciate you and look forward to serving you in 2024.
