Hello Frenchie Friends!
As many of you know I fostered a malnourished senior French Bulldog named Haystack. The internet fell in love with him and we think he might be related to Good Boy Emmett. Haystack, now Howard Haystack, was the result of poor backyard breeding. You saw my adventure of managing his regurgitation, helping him prop up so he could breathe, and ensuring we did not exercise too hard because he physically cannot sustain it. I made it clear to every potential adopter that he might need surgery. Well, he does!
The adopter let me know that he requires extensive surgery. The vet will open his airways, shorten his palette, amongst other physical tweaks to make sure he has a good quality of life. I assumed Haystack would require a 5K surgery. Well. It's quoted to be 11k.
I want to help out his adopter with the surprise amount of the procedure cost. She took on a rescue frenchie and I know she will pay any amount of money regardless of her budget. So, if you feel inclined please donate to his surgery fund. Any excess funds if there are any will be donated to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.
A big thank you!
