UNOCHA estimates that over 521,200 have been internally displaced where many sheltering in schools due to COVID closures, over 60,885 fled to their neighboring country, Sudan, seeking safety. Medicine Sans Frontiers reported that nearly 70% of health facilities have been looted, more than 30% damaged and only 13% are functioning normally. In most Tigray, there are no bank facilities, no Electricity, complete phone & internet blackout, rampant violence, and rape. It has exacerbated the situation where many lives are at stake and facing a deadly shortage of food, medicine, and water in Tigray.

The Kidane Mehret Mission and Hospital in Adwa (through Amici de Adwa https://www.amicidiadwa.org/en/) is a missionary hospital providing the most urgent medical assistance services to women, children, and elderly. The hospital provides treatment of malnutrition, pregnancy & obstetrics care, and delivery. This is the only functioning hospital in the area that is providing lifesaving medical care to displaced patients, countless pregnant women, children, and the elderly.

• $10 will guarantee meals for a hospitalized patient and & $50 will cover for 5  patients.

• $30 will guarantee specialized diagnostic examination for a pregnant mother or a sick patient.

• $60 for a laboratory testing kit.

• $120 will cover delivery assistance for a mother and her baby and with a follow-up appointment
