My name is Anh. I am a freshman at the University of Minnesota. Ever since the year 2019, I have been a participant of Vinspire - a charity started by my aunt to give scholarships to orphans in the region of Quang Nam in Vietnam.
From my experience though, I believe this charity was different. Different, because it is one of the largest charities in the province - but also that the mindset of our charity pushes the ideal for higher learning. We believe that education and capturing that next opportunity is incredibly important - especially for individuals who are bound by the chains of poverty.
The problem is that society isn't currently built to give the many hopeful individuals that we aim to help that opportunity. Whether to pursue college to be something other than a factory worker or to pursue something that will break the cycle of poverty, there are millions of hopeful individuals that wish for the playing field to be leveled, and there are millions languishing because of it. We can't give everyone in the world a proper education (yet) - but we believe that the best time to begin chipping away at the huge problem of educational inequality is now.

HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED:
Every single one of your dollar will be used towards student scholarship money. The cost for videographer, cars, as well as anything else that isn't directly related to student scholarship will be taken care of by the organizers. The scholarship fund will be wired and turned into Vietnamese Đồng cash - eventually being placed into envelopes to be handed to each recipient. The money will be used by the student to:
- Pay for yearly tuition
- Pay for tutoring
- Pay for school supplies
- Pay for basic human needs
