Mary Jane (MJ), a breath of hope to all who know her. She is a giver and exudes kindness, friendship and goodwill to all who cross her path … all with a smile, humility and often with her uncanny sense of humor. She is an example to follow and loved by many.

MJ recently suffered a stroke. She is now home from rehab and has further medical, rehab and vision challenges ahead of her. Mary Jane has met many challenges in her life and has done a remarkable job of overcoming each one. One of her challenges was lung cancer which led her to A Breath of Hope.

MJ was a founding member of A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation (ABOH) 17 years ago when she was battling her own stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis. She has remained faithful to ABOH mission all these years and has never stopped helping others. She is a symbol of hope in the local (Minneapolis area) lung cancer community, and most people know her because she did them a kindness or made them laugh!

IT TAKES A VILLAGE – now is our time to support her during this difficult time. Funds raised will allow MJ to concentrate on improving and returning to her amazing self.
