Hello,

Marc Shearer has recently experienced a devastating turn of events. He was found unconscious on the floor, and it’s believed he may have been there for up to two days. He is currently in and out of a comatose state and has been diagnosed with encephalopathy. At this time, the cause remains unknown — tests have ruled out stroke, heart attack, and any involvement of drugs or alcohol.

Marc is barely able to speak and is only slowly beginning to regain awareness. Physically, he is unable to get out of bed, cannot use the bathroom independently, and has very little sensation in his legs. He also has painful, burn-like wounds on his feet. He remains hospitalized, and his recovery is expected to be a long and uncertain journey.

Unfortunately, Marc’s financial situation is dire and has no insurance (now pending approval). His only daughter, Justina, is doing everything she can, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming.
