Meet Elari-David,

Elari-David was born 10 months ago, without breathing.

After successful CPR, Elari-David is ALIVE but paralyzed, diagnosed with CP (Cerebral Palsy).

Now, we have a chance to make his future life better, with an experimental treatment based in Monterrey, Mexico.

Elari-David can smile and express vocals, which gives us a lot of hope.

Hopefully, this treatment will help him crawl, sit, and maybe even walk.

Some more details:

Elari-David was born in Hadera, Israel.

He's the 4th sibling in his family.

The pregnancy was normal until fetal distress; an emergency C-section saved his life.

All siblings are healthy and help with Elari-David, focusing most of their days on nursing him.

Elari-David is in therapeutic kindergarten, and most of his afternoons are filled with various lab tests and different therapies: physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and occupational therapy.

Diagnosis:

Elari-David has CP (Cerebral Palsy).

During birth - HIE

Newborn metabolic screening - mild metabolic acidosis, mild hypoxic-ischemic injury.

Mild hypokalemia, liver and kidney dysfunction.

Complications at birth - fetal heart rate decrease, meconium aspiration.
