Support Brandie's Fight Against Rare Lymphoma and HLH

Brandie’s life changed forever in January when she was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. After her diagnosis, the disease progressed quickly, landing her in ICU for weeks fighting for her life. Remarkably, Brandie survived only to learn that her cancer had triggered another, more serious condition called HLH. This disease is extremely rare, and not much is known about the cause or treatments. Bran was given a prognosis of one to two years as the HLH is very aggressive.

We didn’t stop fighting and arranged for Brandie to see a doctor at Dana Farber who specializes in this disease. After several appointments, Brandie has been given hope that she can beat this by undergoing a stem cell transplant. This procedure will be a long process carried out over several months with a recovery period of up to a year. Without this procedure Brandie will not survive, this is her only chance at living a longer life. While going through treatment and recovery, Brandie will need to make weekly trips to Boston. The cost of travel and lodging will add up quickly and we are turning to all of you to ask for help.
