Regrettably, Olga has passed away after her courageous battle against cervical cancer and the relentless challenges that followed. The pain of her loss is immeasurable, and our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time. The funds initially sought for Olga's medical treatment have been utilized to cover her debt for electricity and funeral arrangements.

In light of these circumstances, the remaining funds, as well as any additional contributions, will be redirected to assist Mihaela in raising her minor brother. These funds are crucial to addressing their essential needs, including education, healthcare, and everyday living expenses. Our commitment to making a positive impact in their lives and offering them a chance at a more hopeful future remains unwavering.

A family faces an unimaginable challenge in Moldova, one of Europe's poorest nations. Olga is a woman whose life has taken a tragic turn, something no one should ever have to endure.

A loving mother of four, Olga, is fighting for her life. She has been diagnosed with cervical cancer, a diagnosis that would be devastating on its own. Life had even more cruelties in store. With her cancer spreading, its cruel tendrils of metastasis have emerged, making her fight even more intense.

The burden of cancer and metastasis is already strong, but Olga is now facing another formidable foe: thrombosis. One of her legs has swollen with open wounds, a painful reminder of her difficulties. In the hope of mending the broken, doctors have been forced to deliver the cruelest of news-thrombosis must be treated before chemotherapy or radiotherapy can be administered. Surgery, however, is so risky that it poses an insurmountable barrier to thrombosis removal.

Imagine, for a moment, the agony of having a life-threatening disease looming over you, and yet, the treatment that could offer hope remains just out of reach. Olga faces each day with unwavering strength, but she cannot face this battle alone.

Aside from her health condition, Olga also must care for and provide for her youngest child. She continues to strive to give her children the love, care, and support they deserve.

I hold this cause close to my heart because of my strong bond with Mihaela, one of her daughters, who happens to be my dearest childhood friend. Witnessing her family's hardships has deeply saddened me, particularly given the absence of support from their father, who has left them. Despite these challenges, their unconditional love and resilience have left an indelible mark on me, reinforcing my belief that they deserve a brighter and more hopeful future.

We, the friends and family of Olga, turn to you, kind-hearted souls who may read this story.
