My story begins in 2021. After several months of pain and reduced mobility I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer of the Bone (primarily in my hips). Several weeks later I fell and broke my right hip. I was unable to have surgery because my bones were full of cancer. The break made my right leg 4 inches shorter than my left leg. My incredible oncologist started treatment and I began my fight to recover. With God’s grace, my amazing family, and doctors, I have been fighting strong for 3 years now. However, the medical bills have taken a toll. My cancer medication is extremely expensive and I have now been approved for a hip replacement.
