Four years ago, our entire world changed. My husband was only 42 when he suffered a life-changing stroke. In an instant, the man who worked tirelessly as a high-voltage technician, the man who provided for us, protected us, and lit up our home with strength, was fighting just to stand, speak, and move again. Since then, he has fought every single day to regain his independence, and to be the husband and father he was before. He works so hard. Countless hours of therapy, learning to walk again learning to talk again, learning to rebuild a life that once came so naturally.

He's a man of deep faith, and he believes with all his heart that without God's strength, he wouldn't be where he is today. He still dreams of working again, of feeling like himself again. He misses his job, he misses providing for his family, and he misses the independence that was taken from him too soon.

At this time the financial strain has become overwhelming. His therapies, though absolutely necessary, are now limited by insurance. We know he could keep improving, he has the determination and will. What he lacks is the financial support to keep going.

He is still so young. He has teenage kids who need him, a family who loves him, and a heart that refuses to quit. We're asking for help so he can continue the therapies that give him a real chance at reclaiming the life he worked so hard to build.
