HELP BRING HOPE BACK TO MY LIFE

Many of you know my story already — I’ve been fighting a long, exhausting battle with kidney failure and diabetes. After almost 27 years as a diabetic and 2 years on dialysis, I’m drained. Every 4 hours I have to stop my life to either fill or drain, and I’ve been mostly confined to the house because of it.

I recently went down to New Orleans for a kidney/pancreas transplant evaluation, but I couldn’t finish the process. The biggest barrier now? Supplemental insurance and the cost of post-transplant medications. I’ve been making endless calls looking for help, but living off of SSI just isn’t enough.

I’m not looking for a handout. I’m looking for hope.

That’s why I’ve set up a GoFundMe. Any help — whether it’s $5, a share, or simply prayers and kind words — means more than you know. I want to get back to living, working, being present for my daughter, and finally getting OFF dialysis.
