Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I'm originally from South Africa but lived in England for nearly 20 years. A couple of years ago I moved to rural France in search of peace, tranquility, and time to look after myself after a cancer diagnosis.

As much as I love living in the countryside, recently I've discovered the neighbouring hamlet has become home to many stray cats, left to fend for themselves.

I am trying to get the new kittens adopted - so far 3 have been agreed to go abroad to be placed in new homes.

Tyson, an adult male has been sterilised and his ears treated for cancer.

Sadly, the local shelters are all full, and animal charities here have very limited resources so I am using my own funds to pay for their treatment, food and sterilisation.

Please can I kindly ask for your help - even if it's a small amount, it all adds up and I should be able to help some of the cats and kittens.

Every donation will go directly to the cats’ care - vets bills, food, sterilisation.
