My name is Ally Hirsch. I’m a math teacher at Baltimore City College High School, and I also have the joy of supporting our volleyball team. Our players are some of the hardest-working students you’ll ever meet. They balance academics, athletics, jobs, and family responsibilities, and still show up every day with focus, resilience, and an incredible love for the game.
Four of our athletes have earned the chance to play club volleyball, which would let them train year round, grow their skills, and compete at a higher level. This could open doors to college opportunities and connect them with a new team that will push their growth even further.
The only hurdle is cost.
Club fees, travel, and equipment can add up quickly, and for some of our students, those expenses are simply out of reach. I’m raising funds on their behalf so that money isn’t the reason a dedicated, talented young person has to step away from the sport they love.
If you’re able to support, you will be helping Baltimore City College High School athletes continue their growth and chase opportunities they’ve worked so hard for. Thank you so much for supporting them!!
