❤️ She Hasn’t Truly Lived Outside Her Room in Over a Year

For more than 15 months, our daughter has been almost completely confined to a single room.

She doesn’t leave the house.
She doesn’t engage with the outside world.
She is not living a life—she is surviving in isolation.

This has been her reality for years.

❤️ Help Our Daughter Reclaim a Life She’s Been Unable to Live

For eight years, our daughter has been living in severe, debilitating isolation.

Since the age of 12, she has struggled with complex neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions that have progressively taken away her ability to function. What began as withdrawal has developed into profound impairment across every area of her life.

Her condition now includes extreme executive dysfunction, significant impairment in activities of daily living, and patterns of behavior consistent with severe psychiatric and developmental challenges. Basic self-care, hygiene, and environmental functioning have become overwhelming to the point of near impossibility.

To protect her dignity, we cannot share the full extent of what she is enduring—but it is far beyond what most people would imagine, and it is heartbreaking to witness as her parents.

She is, in every sense, trapped.

Exhausting Every Option

We have spent years trying to help her through outpatient therapy, interventions, and support services. Despite our efforts, her condition has continued to decline.

It has become clear that she requires a highly structured, intensive, multidisciplinary residential level of care.

Over the past several months, we have worked with professionals to fully assess her needs:
• A therapeutic placement consultant ($5,500)
• A comprehensive, multi-day psychological evaluation with diagnostic clarification ($6,000)
• Ongoing work with a private psychologist ($250/hour)

This process required us to document and relive the most painful aspects of her life in clinical detail—just to find the right path forward.

After extensive evaluation and consultation, the recommendation was clear:
She needs immersive, full-time therapeutic intervention in a specialized residential setting.

A Critical Opportunity for Treatment

She has been accepted into a residential therapeutic program in Deerfield Beach, Florida, specifically designed for young adults with complex clinical profiles.

This is not just a program—it is a comprehensive treatment environment.

Her individualized care plan includes:
• Weekly individual therapy and psychiatric oversight
• Family therapy and ongoing clinical coordination
• Life skills training (hygiene, daily living, independence)
• Executive functioning and financial skills support
• Academic and vocational guidance
• Social skills training and supported community exposure
• Structured daily mentoring and behavioral support
• Experiential therapies, including:
• Neurofeedback
• Biofeedback
• In-vivo exposure therapy
• TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)

She will live in a small, supportive home with peers facing similar challenges, with continuous guidance and supervision.

Every aspect of her day will be structured with therapeutic intent—something that is impossible to replicate at home.

The Cost of Giving Her a Chance

The financial burden of this level of care is overwhelming, but it is medically and psychologically necessary.

6-Month Clinical Program: $59,538
Housing & Living Expenses: $12,900
Security Deposit: $1,650

Total (6 months): $74,088

This does not include travel, clothing, hygiene essentials, or additional care needs.

Insurance coverage is uncertain and, if approved, will only reimburse after services are rendered.

Why We Are Asking for Help

We never imagined we would be here.

But we are at a point where doing nothing is no longer an option.

Without this level of intervention, her world will remain confined to the same four walls—without progress, without independence, and without relief from the conditions she is living in.

With this opportunity, she has a chance to:
• Learn how to function independently
• Rebuild basic life skills
• Experience human connection
• Develop confidence and autonomy
• Begin, for the first time in years, to live

This is not just about improving her quality of life—it is about giving her access to a life at all.

❤️ From a Parent Who Cannot Give Up

There are no words to fully describe what it feels like to watch your child suffer like this and not be able to reach them.

We are doing everything we can to get her the care she needs. This is the first real path forward we have been given.

If you are able to help—whether by donating or sharing—please know that you are directly contributing to giving our daughter a chance at recovery, dignity, and a future.

Thank you for seeing her.
Thank you for helping us fight for her.
