Hello, my name is Akin, I’m reaching out today and fundraising on behalf of my friend who for four gruesome years, she has waged a courageous, exhausting war against cervical cancer facing excruciating pains, grueling treatment procedures, and an obvious uncertainty with as much strength and grace as she can.

She honestly and tearfully told me she still has hopes of seeing her children grow, share more moments with family and friends, and to live a life free from this relentless battle for survival.

But after four years, this battle has taken an unbearable toll financially and emotionally on her incredible family who have poured everything they have, every resource, every ounce of energy into her fight. They've sold possessions, taken on debt, and worked tirelessly. Now, they have nothing left to give. They are forced to step back, utterly exhausted and financially drained, just when she and her family needed the world most. Seeing them reach this point, throwing in the towel not out of lack of love, but sheer depletion, shattered my heart.

This is why I’m stepping in, and why I desperately need your help. Doctors believe she could have a real fighting chance. But these treatments come at a cost far beyond what she or her financially depleted family can afford and raise. Without immediate financial help, these doors close. This fundraiser is literally her bridge to hope, her chance at survival.

For me, this is personal. I cannot stand by and watch this incredible woman lose her chance simply because the money ran out after four years of relentless struggle. Funding this isn't just about paying bills; it's about giving her a chance to fight, she needs to keep fighting. It’s about giving her family the relief of knowing help can be sought and has arrived. It’s about buying time, hope, and a chance to live.
