My heart is breaking as I write this. My 9-month-old puppy, Hazel, recently ran off as we were playing fetch & went missing overnight, a vet reached out about having her, I was so thankful, crying tears of joy. When I went to pick her up I learned that she suffered a broken leg and needs surgery urgently to have a chance at a healthy life. The vet has made it clear that without this surgery she could suffer permanently and her pain will continue. I feel helpless and devastated watching her struggle, I wish more than anything there was more I can do for her.

I am currently not working and simply don’t have the money to pay for this life-saving procedure. I would do anything to protect her and give her a future — she is not just a pet, she is family. I am reaching out with hope and humility for help.

II want to give her every chance to run, play, and grow up. Please — any help at all would mean the world to us.
