Give Hank a Chance at a Pain-Free Life

Donation protected
Meet Hank, he is a 6-month young Great Dane who didn’t have a great start to his beautiful life. The breeder I received him from abused him and below explains what he is going through except the part that I found out he has old bite marks on his body.

Before I get into his story, my name is Sophie and I’m 18 years old and it took me forever to get my parents to agree to let me get a dog. I saved every penny to plan for this baby boy. I researched and realized a Great Dane is what I wanted for my first official dog.
He is adorable, loving, and a super snuggle bug. He just wants to run with his friends and be a dog but life through this beautiful boy a curve ball.

We found out today that he has a broken toe and old fractures in his right front leg which has led to infections and the start of arthritis in his bones.

He also didn’t get enough nutrients while he was growing, which has led to a serious calcium deficiency in his bones.

His right leg is in especially bad shape we are facing the possibility of amputation if physical therapy doesn’t work.

He urgently needs to see an orthopedic surgeon which we are seeing on Friday to figure out the best next steps for Hank.

So far I have already spent over $1,500.00 just on his first round of x-rays, My savings are dwindling to help him with his medical bills.

Hank has been through so much already that we want to make it that the rest of his life is pain free.
