Thank you for visiting my fundraiser. My name is Michelle, and if you know me, you know how much my dogs mean to me.

An Important Update (January 24, 2026)
When I first created this fundraiser a month ago, I was seeking help with emergency vet costs for my dog Gracie, who had suddenly become critically ill just before Christmas. Despite responding well initially to treatment, Gracie took a turn for the worse, and I made the painful decision to help her cross over peacefully. I'm still grieving the loss of one of the most loving, goofy souls I've ever known.

And now, just as I'm trying to process that loss, I'm facing another crisis. Yesterday, my sweet Millie was diagnosed with early-stage aggressive melanoma. Remission is still within reach if I act quickly. In her otherwise excellent health, treatment could give her more time. Without treatment, she's got a few weeks, up to a few months to live. The medication won't make her sick, won't cause suffering, and can prevent this cancer from spreading. This is exactly the kind of scenario where early intervention means everything—the difference between quality of life and a devastating outcome.

I'm asking for your help because I can't do this alone. Between Gracie's final emergency care and now Millie's treatment, the costs are overwhelming. As painful as losing Gracie was, I know I made the best decision for her. I also know I will not let the pain I'm carrying cloud my judgment for Millie. Helping Millie isn't about prolonging her life at any cost—it's about ensuring her time here is nothing short of great.
Giving up on Millie isn't an option I'm willing to accept when treatment can help or even save her. I have the chance to honor Millie differently—by fighting alongside her while she still has fight in her. She's not suffering. She's treatable. And she deserves that chance.

Any amount helps. Whether it's $5 or $500, every contribution gets Millie closer to the treatment that could save her life and helps me manage the costs from losing Gracie. Please share this fundraiser, too. Every view is an opportunity to beat my race against time to help Millie.

Thank you for reading this, for caring, and for any help you can offer during the hardest month I've had in a long time.

About Gracie's Final Days
Gracie had megaesophagus and had been doing well with feeding modifications until she suddenly became critically ill. She was admitted to the animal hospital where she initially responded well to oxygen, fluids, and antibiotics.

When her condition suddenly took a turn for the worst, I honored my commitment to never let her suffer. Laying down and snuggled up to her in the hospital, I held her close as she crossed over on the day before her 11th birthday.
