ክቡራት ፈተውትን ማሕበረሰብን ኣብዚ ሕጂ እዋን ንህይወታ ክትቃለስ ህርድግ ትብል ዘላ ንእሽቶን ምጭውትን ጓልና ገሊላ በላይ ከቢድ ጾር ተሰኪምና ድጋፍኩም ንሓትት ኣለና። ጓልና ገሊላ ወትሩ ሕጉስቲ፡ ብኣብ ከባቢኣ ዘለዉ ሰባት ፍትውትን ሕውስትን እያ። ወትሩ ሰሓቂትን ኣዝዩ ዓቢ ህርፋን ጸወታን ዘለዋ ህጻን ኢያ ፡ ቁልዕነታ ኣብ ደገ እናተጻወተት ተሕልፎ ዝነበረት። ሓደ መዓልቲ ክትጻወት ውዒላ ገዛ ምስ ኣተወት፡ ንኣዲኣ ቃንዛ ከብዲ ከም ዘለዋ ነገረታ'ሞ ካብ ከቢድ ቃንዛ ዝተላዕለ እናነብዐት ናብ ዓራታ ደየበት። ከባቢ ፍርቂ ለይቲ ብብርቱዕ ቃንዛ፡ ስቓይ፡ ሰዓልን ንብዓትን ተሓዋዊስዋ ካብ ድቃሳ ተበራበረት። ወለዳ ብቕልጡፍ ናብ ሆስፒታል ወሰድዋ። ድሕሪ ናይ ሓያሎ መዓልታት መርመራን ፡ ቦርድ ሕክምና ጠንቂ ቃንዛኣ እንታይ ምዃኑ ፈሊጡ ኣረጋገጹ'ሞ ኩነታታ ንምፍላጥ ኮነ ምምሕዳር ካብ ዓቕሞም ንላዕሊ ስለዝኾነ፡ ንተወሳኺ ሕክምና ናብ ወጻኢ ሃገር ክወስድዋ ንወለዳ መኺሮም ኣፋነውዎም። ኣብዚ ሕጂ እዋን ገሊላ፡ ሕማማ ናይ ዓንዲ ሕቆ (spinal nerve condition )ተዘርጊሑ ናብ ለምሲ ጀረጃ ኣብጺሑዋ ፡ ኣብ ካይሮ-ግብጺ ዝርከብ ሆስፒታል ኮይና ብዘሕዝን መንገዲ ትሳቐን ትቅንዞን ኣላ። እዚ ንስድራቤታ ጎዳኢ እኳ እንተኾነ፡ ህይወት ጓሎም ክትቅጽልን ዘድልያ ሕክምናዊ መርመራታት ክትገብርን ክንክን ክትረክብን ብዓቢ ተስፋን እምነትን ተበጊሶም ኣለዉ። ስለዚ ንዘድልያ ሕክምናዊ ወጻኢታት ንምሽፋንን እኹል ገንዘብ ንምእካብን ልግስኹምን ንሓትት። ገሊላ ሕጉስን ጥዑይን ናብራ ክትነብር ይግብኣ እዩ። ብመንገዲ ሓገዝኩምን ወፈያኹምን እቲ ሓደ እዋን ምስ ኩሉ ትካፈሎ ዝነበረት ሰሓቕን ሓጎስን ዝመልአት ህይወት ክትውንን ከምኡ'ውን ምስ ንኣሽቱ ኣሕዋታ ክትጻወት ዕድል ክኽፈተላ ይኽእል እዩ። ኩሉ ዓይነት ሓገዝን ወፈያን፡ ንእሽቶ ይኹን ዓቢ ብቐጥታ ናብ ካይሮ-ግብጺ ዝርከብ ሆስፒታልን ዝካየደላ ዘሎ ቀጻሊ ክንክንን ሕክምናን ዝውዕል እዩ። ኣብ ቅድሜና ዘሎ መንገዲ ነዊሕን ዘይርጉጽን እኳ እንተኾነ፡ ብደገፍኩም ግን ጓልና ገሊላ ነዚ ገጢምዋ ዘሎ ብድሆ ክትስዕርን ናብቲ ሓደ እዋን ዝነበረቶ ሕጉስቲ ዝኾነት ቆልዓ ክትምለስን ክንሕግዛ ከም ንኽእል ምሉእ እምነት ኣለና። ስለቲ ጸሎትኩም፡ ደገፍኩምን ልግስኹምን ብልቢ ነመስግንን ብሓባር ለውጢ ከነምጽእ ከም እንኽእል ንኣምንን። ንጓል 9 ዓመት ጓልና ገሊላ በላይ ንምሕጋዝ ሕጂ ትገብርዎ ሓገዝን ወፈያን ዓቢ ኣበርክቶ ኣለዎ!

Gelila has always been a happy, joyful child, loved by everyone around her. She spent her days playing outside, filled with energy and laughter. But one day, everything changed. Gelila came home from playing and told her mother that she had a stomach ache. She went to bed, crying in pain. In the middle of the night, she woke up in even more agony, feverish and in tears. Her parents rushed her to the hospital, but doctors were unable to determine what was causing her pain. After several days of testing and uncertainty, the medical board confirmed that her illness is due to spinal nerve condition . The doctors then advised her parents to take her abroad for further treatment, as her condition seemed beyond their ability to diagnose and manage. Gelila is now in Cairo, Egypt, in the hospital, suffering paralysed and tragically spread throughout her spinal cord. This diagnosis has been a devastating blow to her family, but they are determined to get her the medical care she needs to survive and thrive.
