Hi, my name is Mary, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping my cousin Gary.
Although Gary is technically my cousin—my aunt’s son—and two years older than me, we’ve always considered ourselves twins. We’re incredibly close and so much alike in every way.
Gary has been battling Type 1 Diabetes his entire life. Sadly, about a year ago, he lost his leg due to complications from the disease.
Now, without the ability to drive or easily get around, Gary is mostly homebound. He struggles to get to medical appointments or even go grocery shopping, and he has no one nearby to help regularly.
A mobility scooter would make a world of difference for him. It would give Gary back some of his independence and allow him to take care of essential errands on his own.
Any support you can offer would mean so much—not just to Gary, but to all of us who care deeply about him. Thank you for taking the time to read his story.
