My friend of 15 years needs help. She is a stay-at-home mom of three children (nine, four, and two years), and she just lost her husband in a most terrible turn of events, which means she's now a single mother of three who has to return to work, and the money she makes barely covers daycare, let alone rent and food.

To make matters worse, she has been diagnosed with a illness that causes her crippling headaches, and she is also recovering from a recent, and depressing medical trauma. To say she has it rough is an understatement. She is such a giving soul, and she's trying to survive, but her only family is her aging grandparents who can offer little help. She has been an ongoing and steadfast mother, wife, friend, and a very fine human.

The thing she wants most despite her own hardships is also wonderfully selfless... to not have to let her children be further traumatized by a sad Christmas, losing their housing, or no food. Let's team up and give these kids a great holiday, and help her take one more stress off of her mind.
