Hi, my name is Alexis, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help for someone very special to my family — our sweet cat, Freya.

Two winters ago in Minnesota, during a brutally cold night, I found a tiny kitten all alone in a parking lot. She was only 12 weeks old, shivering, malnourished, and infested with worms. No mom in sight, no warmth, no safety. Just a little soul trying to survive.

I brought her home and spent weeks nursing her back to health. She fought so hard to live — and she did. She became part of our family. Loving, playful, curious, and incredibly strong. She’s been with us for two years now, and we love her with all our hearts.

But now… Freya is suffering again, and this time I can’t help her alone.

Freya has been diagnosed with feline stomatitis, a painful and chronic inflammation in her mouth that has made it difficult for her to eat and groom. She’s lost weight, her once-soft fur now has severe dandruff, and she’s experiencing incontinence — all because of this condition.

The only way to give her real relief is to have her teeth surgically removed, which is a common and effective treatment for cats with stomatitis. Without this, her condition will continue to worsen.

Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure is more than I can manage right now — and time is not on our side.

Freya is still young. She’s not ready to give up, and we’re not ready to lose her. This surgery could give her a second chance at life — a pain-free, happy, healthy life where she can eat, play, and cuddle again without suffering.
