Give for Steven-Healing from flesh eating bacteria
“Think of giving not as a duty but as a privilege.”
John D. Rockefeller Jr.
Steven Wilson or Scuba Steve to his friend is an 18 year old senior at Simla High School in rural Simla, Colorado. He loves music and sports and Star. Wars. He plays football, basketball, baseball, but his favorite sport is hockey. He is a big Colorado Avalanche fan! Steven is looking forward to high school graduation this year and has goals to become a contractor and own his own business one day.
Life for Steven took a different path on January 21, 2020 when he was admitted into the ICU at the hospital with necrotizing fasciitis (flesh eating bacteria). After 5 days in ICU and 4+ surgeries and procedures, Steven has lost a considerable amount of tissue on his right buttocks and will have yet another surgery tomorrow to have a temporary colostomy bag placed to aid in the healing of his large wound. Steven has a long road to complete healing and recovery. He and his family will need a lot of help.
If you would like to help with their financial burden , any donation through GoFund Me would be greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly For Stevens medical costs and related costs for his family.
On behalf of Steven and his family, I appreciate all of the outpouring of love, prayers and support shown over the last few days and undoubtedly the months to come.
Giving- not a duty but a privilege.
