I am starting this fundraiser for Houston and the surrounding community because I feel a deep spiritual calling to assist those in need. This cause is personal to me, because I have also required help during difficult times in my own life. I know what it feels like to need support, kindness, and encouragement, and that experience has stayed with me. It has placed a strong desire on my heart to give back and to stand with others who may be struggling day to day. I want this fundraiser to be a way to answer that calling with real, meaningful action in the communities around me.
