Hi, my name is Kendall, and this is my sweet horse Fancy. I've raised her since I was 10, and she's an absolute sweetheart. Fancy's mom Ruby passed away giving birth to her, so I had to bottle feed Fancy as a foal. So she’s my baby!
Unfortunately, she got injured years ago and that caused her to develop severe arthritis in her front left leg. I've tried everything I can to help her out, but the vet advised the next step is surgery to remove bone spurs to get her mobile again.
She's in pain and in need of relief. It breaks my heart to see her like this, but I unfortunately cannot afford this $17,000 surgery on my own. Anything helps Fancy’s chance to walk again. If I can’t find the help i will have to make the hard decision to put her down if I can’t fund the surgery. Sending a big thanks from Fancy and I.
