Hi everyone, my name is SeKai, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my twin brother’s beloved dog, Esko.

Recently, Esko suffered a devastating injury after being hit by a car—his femur was broken, and his front leg was split open from elbow to paw, and he has damage to his lungs causing blood to pool, leaving him with severe trauma. After thorough evaluation, the only viable option for Esko’s survival and long-term well-being is amputation.

This sweet boy has a long road ahead: surgery, recovery, follow-up vet visits, and eventual rehabilitation to adjust to life on three legs. But we’re committed to doing everything we can to get him back to being the happy, tail-wagging soul we know and love.

Esko is a 7-year-old American Bully with a heart as big as his head. He’s endlessly affectionate, obsessed with fetch (at any time, in any place), and a shameless cuddler. His favorite treats are lamb lung and marrow bones, and when he’s not chasing a ball, he’s passed out on the couch—licking anyone lucky enough to be within tongue’s reach.

This amputation isn’t a choice. It’s a necessity.

Our family is doing everything we can—pooling our resources, our strength, and our hope. But we can’t do it alone.

Where funds are being allocated:

Just for transparency the bulk of the cost is amputation which will cost anywhere from $7000-$8000. We won’t know until they operate and assess how much it will actually cost. Then there is after care which could cost $1800-$2000

we’ve already paid $5700 firs the first day so this go fund me is to help cover the amputation mostly. We didn’t care credit and the option for a payment plan and neither were accepted. We really appreciate any help at this time even $5. We’re hoping that as a community we can put funds together in hopes that Esko can live a happy healthy life going forward.
