I thank you from every point of Love from Me and Emerson.

Your donations not only helped with the bills, they also staved off insanity as to how I would afford his care. Y'all all gave me the Peace of Mind to do what it took to heal him.

And the great news is... He's getting better.

He had an obstruction in his intestines, and with medicine and a increased fiber diet, it came out and he passed what was causing the problem. Thank GOODNESS.

I really really couldn't have done it without your help. So hats off to you. The real heroes.

Hello Kind Folks.

Emerson, my cat, has fallen quite ill.

Vet bills are so crazy.

Emergency Vet bills, X rays, blood panels - everything - each one - so expensive.

Please help me with this struggle.

I can't do this alone and keep him alive.

I am sorry for even asking, and yet I am, humbly.

Please help me give my cat a fighting chance to live.

Thank you with my whole heart for even just your prayers.

I am at the vet's writing this now. I will give updates as they come in.

Update: Dr. sees something very concerning in his lower abdomen. Wants to do an ultrasound.

Update 4/23

Thank you everyone that have donated to helping Me and Emerson get through this CATastrophe. It really sucks and your compassion and generosity make it not suck as much so a real shout out - you're our heroes!

He's doing better. We are not out of the woods yet as far as what is inside his intestinal tract coming out. He's on lots of medications to assist with that and help him excrete whatever is causing his health problems.

The next couple of days are crucial. If he doesn't dislodge whatever it is - he will need an ultrasound and surely surgery.

Update 4/26 Emerson's Dr. is great. She has him on all sorts of meds to help him. And it's working - we still need help. We have one more test to do on Monday, she thinks his intestines are twisted. And then we determine what to do next.

He is feeling better, but I don't know if it's the pain management drug he's on... I just might have to send him to rehab, I hope he doesn't say no, no, no. Kidding - at least he isn't freaking me out anymore with his howling and panting and fever.
