AMAZON WISHLIST HERE

Hi All!

Our names are Matthew and Lauryn, we are seeking support to help our new foster dog, Ellie, to make her an amazing candidate for adoption. Ellie has already had a really difficult life as a dog less than 2 years old: her first owners were deported/self-deported, her second owner was unhoused and couldn't manage his own challenges and Ellie. This all led to us meeting Ellie back in September when she got loose from an unhoused encampment and showed up outside our apartment.

We were able to reunite her with her former owner, but at the time we were unfamiliar with Ellie's situation. 2 weeks later, we heard Ellie escaped again and ended up in a Los Angeles shelter, and unfortunately her owner no longer had the capacity to care for Ellie. This all brings us to now, where Ellie was recently put on the euthanization list, we got connected to a rescue just in time, and now Ellie is happily living with us.

We still need help. Ellie is an amazing dog, but she still needs formal training. She hasn't been given a fair chance at a stable life, and is seeking her forever home. By supporting our GoFundMe, you can fund her 3-week board and train, which is essential before we bring her to dog adoption events. We will foster Ellie for as long as she needs, which means we can use support for her food, toys, hygiene, unexpected medical needs, and so on.
