Please Help Elias Fight Terminal Cancer

This is Elias, our big-hearted 13-year-old warrior who bravely faced osteosarcoma (bone cancer) two years ago. Despite enduring numerous rounds of aggressive chemotherapy, the tumor in his right arm refused to shrink. In a courageous effort to save his life, Elias underwent a full right arm amputation.

Despite all of this, his spirit and determination never wavered. He relearned how to write and draw with his less dominant hand, jumped back into the activities he loves, like cooking and swimming, without hesitation, and put in his best efforts in school, achieving straight A's this past year.
It is with profound heartbreak that we report his cancer has returned and is spreading throughout his body.
During a recent MRI two aggressive tumors in his spine have caused a severe compression fracture in his lower back and are pressing dangerously close to his spinal cord. It is nothing short of a miracle that he hasn’t become paralyzed.
Additionally, Elias has two tumors in his lungs and another painful tumor on his pelvis.
We are urgently seeking financial assistance to allow him access to necessary and potentially life-saving treatments NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE before his disease surpasses a threshold from which he cannot recover.

Watching our vibrant, active boy in so much pain fills us with profound heartbreak and anxiety. This cancer is relentless. We are committed to finding solutions and giving him the best care we can find.
The news we received from Elias’s oncologist has been nothing but devastating. She has stated that his condition is not curable and predicts he has no more than six months to live. The best she can offer is radiation to his spine and more chemotherapy to merely provide him with some relief, but there are no guarantees any of it will be effective.
All the things that Elias loves—swimming, family walks with our dog, his creative pursuits, and his dream of becoming a famous YouTuber and master chef—are now on pause. The pain and restrictions caused by the cancer have overwhelmed him, leaving him unable to engage in the activities that bring him joy.

We are determined to explore every possible avenue, integrating complementary, integrative, and alternative oncology care to enhance Elias's quality of life and give him the fighting chance he so deeply deserves.
Our wish is to cherish every moment we have together creating as many more joyful memories as possible and making sure he feels deeply loved.

We are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer during this difficult time. Your generosity means the world to us and brings hope to our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Elias and helping him fight this battle.
