Hello everyone,

My name is Jasmyn, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help on behalf of my uncle, Dustin, a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran and a loving father to two wonderful boys, ages 5 and 8.

Dustin has dedicated his life to serving our country and to being the best father he can be. Now, he’s facing one of the hardest battles, trying to secure a safe, stable, and nurturing home for his sons.

Currently, the boys live primarily with their mother, a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Unfortunately, the living conditions there have become deeply concerning. They share a three-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with four adults and two children, leaving the boys without their own room or even their own bed. Since birth, they’ve had to sleep with their mother because there simply isn’t enough space.

Over time, the situation has worsened. The home has often been cluttered and unsanitary, with spoiled food in the refrigerator and even dangerous items like needles left within reach of the children. The boys frequently go long stretches without meals, spend most of their time on screens, and have missed out on basic needs like regular haircuts, outdoor play, and dental care.

Dustin has worked tirelessly to provide them with a better environment. He has a safe, clean two-bedroom apartment ready for his sons, with their own room, their own beds, and a place where they can finally thrive. From 2023 to 2025, he did everything possible to keep them with him as much as he could, but a recent work relocation forced him to leave them primarily in their mother’s care.

Now, Dustin is doing everything in his power to gain full custody and bring his boys home for good. Unfortunately, the legal costs of pursuing custody are overwhelming. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward legal fees and related expenses to ensure these two sweet boys have the safe, stable, and loving home they deserve.
