Hi friends,

We never thought we’d be writing something like this, but our sweet 6-month-old mini poodle, Dunkin, needs help. He’s our spunky little guy, always running around, wrestling with his sister, and making us laugh with his silly, full-of-life personality. He’s still just a puppy with so much energy and joy to give.

A few days ago, Dunkin hurt his leg, and the vet gave us heartbreaking news: he has fractures in both the lateral and medial condyles of his leg. To fix it, he needs surgery that costs $6,000. If we can’t raise the money, the only other option is amputation for about $1,000.

Watching him go from sprinting around the house to now sitting in a kennel, not understanding why he can’t play, has been absolutely crushing. As a young married couple in college, this expense is far beyond what we can manage on our own, but we want to give him the chance to keep his leg and live the active, happy life he deserves.
