We're reaching out because we are going through something incredibly difficult and we would appreciate some support.

Just a few days ago, our beautiful dog doc was completely fine - happy, playful, and full of energy like he always is. But very suddenly, something happened at home and he lost the ability to use his 2 back legs. After rushing him to the vet, we were devastated to learn that he had become paralysed in his 2 back legs and has a herniated disc (ivdd).

Doc isn't just a pet - he's our best friend, our comfort, and such a huge part of our family. He's the most energetic, loving dog you could ever meet, but now seeing him unable to move has been absolutely heartbreaking for us.

Right now, we're facing very difficult financial decisions, after having to cancel pet insurance during covid, due to financial strain.

The CT scan has estimated a cost of $3,000 and the surgery which offers a strong chance of recovery is estimated to cost around $15,000.

Sadly without treatment, or if something doesn't work, we may be forced to make the painful decision of putting our precious dog down.

This situation has came very unexpectedly during an already difficult financial time for our family, and we simply can't manage these costs alone.

I know this goal is extremely high, but absolutely any donation - big or small - would mean the world to us and will go directly towards giving him the best possible chance to walk and play again.
